A rather refreshing product has just become available through the powers of Kickstarter and crowdfunding. A lucid dreaming board game!
Lucidity: Six sided nightmares is a lucid dreaming inspired board game where you roll the dice to see what happens to you in this exciting adventure. You can play with up to 4 people and there are 80 custom dice.
How the game is played
The game is played by of course rolling the dice and moving your piece along the board. You’ll find different obstacles and traps/nightmares in the game as you move through it, and the average game lasts about 30 minutes.
When you’re knocked out, you BECOME the nightmare or bad character that haunts the rest of the players, so no-one is left out in this game. The game includes nightmare cards, 80 custom dice, and dreamer cards.
There are also interesting things like glass sleep markers and turn summary cards.
A refreshing change
It’s really nice to see a board game about lucid dreaming, because for a long time I feel like the community have wanted this. It’s a way of making lucid dreaming slightly more fun and available for everyone. I hope to see this board game in most stores in the future!
