What my first lucid dream felt like

I’m Stef, and I have been a master lucid dreamer for a good 7-8 years now.

But what happened?

Well, I feel asleep, but it wasn’t like any sleep I’d had before. I remember this moment vividly. I opened my eyes in a large hallway. I remember thinking ‘Oh, I must have woken up and now I can leave my room! Cool!’ But where was I? I was definitely not in my room.

I figured I must be.. STILL ASLEEP! Quite a clever realization for someone so young. I looked own at my hands and suddenly felt my heart start beating faster and faster. I’M STILL ASLEEP! I can do anything! I run around the hallway and enter a field after pushing through a large wooden set of double doors.

I’m free! I look up to the sky and think ‘Can I fly here? I normally dream about flying.. Can I now? Is this real?!’ I jump up and start flying. It’s so exciting that I instantly wake up. WHAT JUST HAPPENED?! I had my first lucid dream.

Since then?

I’ve had countless lucid dreams in which I’ve explored other planets, spoke to dead celebrities, visited other civilisations, time travelled, flown across just about every major landmark or country I can think of, and much more.
